Lotus is primarily a native iOS app, so we keep tracking to a minimum. This policy explains the small set of cookies and similar technologies we use on this website and inside the app.

This Cookie Policy explains how Lotus (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website and comparable identifiers within our app. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

2. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and, in mobile apps, software development kits (SDKs) and device identifiers that perform comparable functions — remembering preferences, keeping you signed in, and measuring how a product is used.

These are required for the site to function — for example, to load pages securely and remember basic settings. They cannot be turned off through our site.

These remember choices you make, such as your region or display preferences, so the site behaves the way you expect.

Analytics

With your consent where required, we use PostHog, a product-analytics service, to understand which pages are visited, which elements are clicked, and how the site performs, in aggregate. PostHog may set cookies or use local storage to distinguish visitors. We do not use these to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell this information.

4. Technologies in the app

The Lotus app does not use browser cookies. Instead it uses local storage on your device to keep you signed in and to store your settings, and limited diagnostic and analytics SDKs — including PostHog — to keep the app stable and understand how features are used. Analytics events never include your cycle or health details; that information is never used for advertising and is governed by our Privacy Policy.

5. Managing your choices

  • Website cookies: most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
  • Consent banner: where we are required to ask, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies and change your choice later.
  • In-app analytics:you can reset or limit your device’s advertising identifier in your iOS privacy settings.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
